The shade had been deployed to reverse the effects of climate change, but it had gone too far and much of the world was covered in ice. Gabriel's mission was to turn the Shade off.
We follow Gabriel through many adventures on his way to the secret installation. The world is a lawless place with many desperate people scavenging for anything with value.
There is lots of action, but also time to get to know a few of the characters. It is a good, light read."
